The original producers (faculty or students) and / or the corresponding academic departments retain the copyright of their productions. The Library owns the copyright of its created videos / images and summaries.

Any downloading, storage, reproduction, or redistribution, in part or in whole, of any of the videos / images / files / content that made available on this platform is strictly prohibited. Any of these intended uses should seek the prior written approval from respective student(s) and the Library. Please strictly observe the copyright law.


   Can I...

1. View the videos / images off-campus? YES This platform and its content is publicly accessible. We welcome any users from all over the world.

2. Play the videos or show the images in class? YES Teachers and students from all institutions are permitted to play or show the videos / images for the purpose of giving or receiving instruction.

3. Play the videos or show the images in a non-teaching activity? NO Basically, the use of the videos / images is strictly restricted for teaching and learning purposes. If you have this particular request, please contact us and seek written approval beforehand.

4. Download the videos / images? NO Unless you have obtained prior permission from respective producer(s) and the Library.

5. Embed the videos / images into a PowerPoint for presentation? NO Unless you have obtained prior permission from respective speaker(s) and the Library.

6. Upload the videos / images on Moodle, personal website, etc.? NO Unless you have obtained prior permission from respective speaker(s) and the Library.

7. Put / Share the links of webpages / videos / images on educational, personal, or social networking websites? YES You are very welcome to do so for the purposes of teaching and learning, or promoting student outputs of HKBU. All video / image links are permanent links.
