SUMMARY

More Say for the Smaller Groups.

Small and medium sized artistic groups find it difficult to survive in Hong Kong due to a critical shortage of arts venues, and the high rents charged by those that are available. The uneven distribution of resources such as the grants provided by the Hong Kong Art Development Council is also to blame. Artists hope they will be given more say in policy making for the arts sector.
