SUMMARY :

The path to democracy: where to? where from?

For years now, the “Weiquan”movement, or lawyers for human rights, have been harrassed by authorities within the Mainland. After having their informative activities monitored, Hong Kong’s bookshops featuring banned books are playing a role in this movement’s effort to have an effect on Mainland law and society.
