This year, there’s been an outburst of “trolling,” where comments online and on social media veer into bullying. The differences between Hong Kong and mainland have been particularly viciously voiced online. Some say anonymity lets people avoid responsibility for their remarks’ impact. Has utilizing social media for any purpose gone too far?
