People always say "In one ear and out the other", which means they usually just ignore what the other said. I use large animal ears to represent that humans ignore opinions even when their ears can hear a lot. The knitting wool is used to represent that the brain is full of things, and it does not have space to receive other people's opinions. I add a microphone in the left ear and a loudspeaker in the right ear to show the Chinese idiom "Left ear in, right ear out". People always live in their own world, and I want to show this idea via my work.

常言道「一隻耳進,一隻耳出」,就是沒有留意別人說話的意思。我用大型的動物耳朵來表達,人們即使能聽到很多聲音,仍然會忽略他人的意見。針織羊毛則代表腦袋裝載了太多的事情,沒留空間來接收別人的看法。我分別在左耳和右耳加入了咪高峰和擴音器,象徵中國俗話說的「左耳入右耳出」。人們只活在自己的世界中,而我就想透過此作品表達這個想法。
