Employment and Rehabilitation?
The unemployment rate of middle-aged ex-prisoners is significantly higher than those of their younger counterparts. The Society of Rehabilitation and Crime Prevention is now providing them with vocational training workshops aimed at raising their competitiveness in the job market.
釋囚重投社會，有些釋囚緬懷過去風光的日子，不甘心從事基層工作。工作態度懶散，他們不熱衷做長工。有釋囚沒有隱瞞身份，未能找到理想的職業。百業興旺，他們都不難就業；現在經濟不景，他們找工作並不容易。有些志願機構為釋囚服務，提供技能培訓課程，協助他們就業。中年釋囚的就業率受年歲的因素影響，較年輕釋囚的為低。
