Sunny is a mainland student studying at a university in Hong Kong. When Sunny's mother visits him in Hong Kong, she discovers that Sunny was expelled from school, but he is hiding the truth. He does not want to burden his family, so he sleeps rough in the parks. This movie illustrates the special pressure of mainland students.
母親從內地來港探望求學的兒子（林二東），而後發現他隱藏著被學校退學的事實。原來二東不想增加家庭負擔，一直把事情隱瞞著家人，更搬到公園露宿！東母發現事實後，痛心不已。然而東母只說了一句話，輕描淡寫的化解了問題。此片帶出內地學生到香港求學的壓力，並藉此教育年青人面對失敗時的處理方式。
