In a world of mass manufacturing and consumption, I cherish the value of handmade items and I have turned to knitting which is a timeless skill passed on from my mother. Knitting is about connecting loops and it is experiential. Somehow I feel it resembles the connections between people. I would like to explore this through the re-invention and re-contextualization of knitting.
