Exporting Electronic Wastes.
Exploiting legal loopholes, some unscrupulous business people are exploiting electronic waste to mainland China. The lower standard for recycling there puts the environment at risk. Tighter regulations for the export of e-waste are needed.
內地工業發展迅速，金屬需求甚殷，價格上升，吸引回收商。土法提煉電子垃圾內的金屬，污染環境，危害健康。香港不法商人偷運電子垃圾到內地，也利用香港法例的灰色地帶合法轉運，導致香港淪為垃圾轉口港。政府監管不足，新界北部出現多個電子垃圾場，居民身受其害。環保園將落成，政府希望回收商多點投資，發展香港已落後多時的環保業。
