Media Education; Educate the Mass Media.
Easy access to pornographic information via the mass media arouses public awareness. To address this problem, some schools provide a new subject named “Media Education”, hoping to equip students with critical thinking skills. The Government also takes steps to regulate the misbehaviors of the mass media.
報章刊載色情故事及嫖妓指南之風日熾，引起大眾關注。傳媒廣泛宣揚色情暴力資訊，青少年因心智尚未成熟，遭受不良刊物荼毒。部分學校有見及此，開設傳媒教育學科，讓學生建立一套正確的價值觀，批判傳媒及明辨是非。政府為遏止不良風氣，出版淫褻及不雅物品的諮詢文件，也設立投訴熱線，圖立法監管傳媒。
