Putting a Full Stop to the Problem?
In order to quickly solve the problem of the Vietnamese refugees, the Hong Kong Government decided to grant them the right of abode. These people find themselves very difficult to integrate with the local community and adapt to a new living environment, but the Government does not render assistance to this matter.
香港政府製造假象，讓國際誤以為滯留香港的越南難民問題已徹底解決。香港政府不欲越南難民成為負擔，向他們發放香港永久身份證；難民因移民外國的機會已微乎其微，只好接受留港安排。香港政府為求迅速解決越南難民問題，沒有為難民如何融入社會及適應新生活作適當安排，越南難民對未來的前景感到悵惘。
