Gifted children are valuable resources for a society, but their ways of learning need special attention. The Hong Kong Government does not have a far-sighted policy on gifted education, and the current places are not enough for the children.資優兒童不喜歡常規的課程，討厭學習受限制，經常被老師視為問題兒童。他們受人忽視，未能發揮潛能。香港政府雖然為他們提供相關課程，但學額不足，又沒有提供任何跟進服務。受訪的心理學家和學者都指出，資優生是寶貴資源，政府卻浪費人才。政府所辦的資優教育缺乏進展，亦沒有長遠政策，遠較海峽兩岸落後，培訓他們的重任仍然由父母承擔。
