Light brings everything by terminating dark eternity, yet, as the American artist Michelle Cooper states, “Given the right lighting, all the colours in the world can be seen in a white object”.
When we can sense its embrace, light has penetrated through our space and senses silently without acknowledgement; light can simply be defined as sublime. In this respect the artist Karl Appel states that “Light is intangible, it is there and not there. You can’t eat it, you can’t taste it, you can only see it and sense it. Even blind people can sense light; it’s something instinctive.”
Through the use of a series of simple structures containing light emitting diodes (LEDs) and carefully positioned prisms and mirrors, my work explores how light travels across and between spaces and forms. The resulting installation will reflect and transmit the pervasive and complex nature of light.

光能終結黑暗,為世界帶來色彩。藝術家米歇爾•庫柏形容,在恰當的光線下,世間的一切色彩皆能幻化成白色。光,是如此飄渺多變,無聲無息地,它穿透了感官和空間。
