Several non-governmental organizations in Hong Kong strive to help Mainland-born children of Hong Kong residents gain the right of abode in Hong Kong. Due to a lack of unity, these organizations eventually failed in their attempts.
港人內地出生子女逾期留港爭取居港權。人大釋法讓港人內地出生子女成為香港居民，後因人數眾多而加以限制申請。部分內地出生子女因家庭或工作因素，持雙程證來港逾期居留，並向相關組織求助以爭取居港權。由於相關組織未能團結一致為港人內地出生子女爭取權益，導致他們爭取居港權失敗。
