What is life? Mankind has been searching for extraterrestrial life for decades but there is still no conclusive evidence for their existence. All known types of life on Earth are carbon-based, but the possibility of other forms of life such as silicon-based life cannot be ruled out. Is the definition of life based on anthropocentric ideas comprehensive and authoritative? By incorporating human body parts and steel to simulate the birth of new life forms, Birth hopes to satirize the idea that humans are the centre of everything.
什麼是生命?
人類尋找地球外生物數十年卻仍無證據表明外星生命的存在。目前地球上已知的生命類型均為碳基生命，但無法排除矽基生命等其他生命形式的可能。基於人類中心思想所制定的生命的定義是否具有全面性和權威性? 誕生通過結合人類身體部分以及鋼鐵模擬新生命形成的過程，進而諷刺人類是萬物的中心這一思想。
