Hong Kong has a developed system of information flow, offered by various media. It has a high ranking in Press Freedom Index. Every year, mainland talents come to Hong Kong to join or about to join the press. Two territories are divided by just a river but the press circumstances varied a lot. Propagandistic mainland media are not allowed to report from the viewpoints of antagonists. Even though mainland journalists have high ideals, they are subjected to scrutiny and censorship from Central Publicity Department and State Council Information Office. Restrictions are imposed on the press freedom. What is going through the minds of these new immigrants to Hong Kong, who are also new hands of the press, when challenged by such language and cultural differences?
