Navigating through disapproval from the family and troubles in the workplace, the government has little support services for them. Living a life in an unfitting body, how many difficulties stand in their way?
性別認同障礙在香港作為少數的存在,未被社會所廣泛接受,受到的壓力也不少。受訪的妍妍就分享了他邁向變性手術所面對的難處,除了家人不予支持,在職場生存也是困難重重。政府對於這類人士的支援甚為不足,作為很基本的夢想,他們要跟伴侶結婚在法例上並不容許。要在這社會背負不合適的身體生活,到底要面對多少艱難?
