Trapped.

Most hidden elderly live by themselves. Poverty, poor health, low mobility, lack of family support, no initiative to seek help from the society and lack of social skills are no stranger to them. Identifying hidden elderly or following up their cases mostly relies on social worker visits, outreach services or neighbour referrals, etc, with the assistance of volunteers. After social workers have identified the hidden elderly, their needs will map them into different service plans, such as day care, meal delivery or escort to hospitals. Can these services help such elderly get out of their hidden lives?
