We have been constantly building up our solitary universes since the moment we are born. Being emotionally independent reveals the solitary nature of the human world.

A sense of peacefulness and calmness is delivered throughout the process of my drawing. The repetitive gesture of making strokes with colour pencil leads me to deep concentration thus being self-isolated, crowding out the world and turning into the state of solitary. The strokes create an imaginative space while the colour brings out the taciturn atmosphere. The body, through the process of drawing, expresses different emotions in its isolated world, interprets different solitary states. The drawing process is my way to unwrap the hidden nature of this world.

(The text is provided by the student) 我們自出生的一刻便開始建構一個孤獨的世界。個人情感的獨立性，突顯出世界孤獨的本質。

木顏色的質感與使用時的重覆性動作令我專注於繪畫的過程之中，並且進行自我孤立，排擠外面的世界從而進入孤獨的狀態。我以筆觸去建構不同的世界，顏色帶出孤獨──寧靜而沉默的氣氛。人體於獨立的世界內呈現出各自的情緒狀態，演繹著不同的孤獨。我把它們集結成一片孤獨，以作品的整體性來呈現世界的本相。
