On the way home from school, a little girl rescues a dove which has hurt its leg. She nurses it back to help, and plays with it. But later, her mother drives away the dove with a broom, despite the pleas of the little girl ...
小女孩放學後，跟隨母親回家。在途中，她玩扭蛋時，發現一隻足部受傷的鴿子，把牠帶返家中飼養；她不但給牠食物，還與牠玩耍。隔天，小女孩放學回家，跑到窗前，鴿子立刻飛下來，站在衣裳竹上，歡迎她歸家。但母親不喜歡鴿子，拿著掃帚要把鴿子趕走，小女孩哀求不果，鴿子馬上飛走……
