Nou Ting (Nou: Cantonese Pinyin of 'slave' 奴), the fish creature. Genesis in the water, inhabits in this city. Humanoid, ignorant and innocent, with fish fins and webbed hands, her steps are wobbly and hesitant, her graceful figure drifts with the tides, humming fishing songs.
Adorned with crimson, tempting and alluring. Being harassed, speechless, without a word but a smile. Her body was dyed in red, seductive gaffe, inwardness succumbs, depravity, gasping for air, breathed her last breath, and perishes.
She is it, it is us. Hongkongers, we are all Nou Ting.
