Ramblers: the new generation.
These guys found a creative way to get out of the typical dreary day in day out routine---by enrolling in the “work holiday scheme,” open to 18 to 30 year olds, they to go to experience a variety of part-time jobs in all sorts of countries. The perennial question is: Time well spent, or time wasted?
幾位青年曾參加「工作假期」，講述自己難忘的經歷。「工作假期計劃」專供十八至三十歲青年申請，簽證通常為期一年。申請人可以在當地工作、讀書或做義工。英國社會學家英格哈爾提出「後物質主義」：人在不同階段有不同的目標，滿足了物質需要後，便會轉而追求物質以外的價值。這群青年在外地的體驗，反思過往的生活，思考香港社會主流價值觀。要麵包，還是要夢想？是浪漫，還是浪費？他們跟社會或上一代的答案是否一樣呢？
