Where are the Promised Places for University Halls?
Places in university halls are tighter than ever. Without university accommodation, students are left to their own resources: some rent flats; some live at home; others stay in youth hostels. The government is eager to develop Hong Kong into an education hub, but the shortage of accommodations presents a clear obstacle.
許多海內外學生來港讀書，加上新舊制本地生入讀大學，大學宿位需求更添緊張。沒有宿位的大學生唯有各自解決，有人未經許可下在宿舍留宿；有人在外租住房子；有人回家居住；有人則選擇大學提供的青年宿舍。為了爭取土地興建宿舍，浸大學生遊行到政府總部，提出訴求。政府要建設香港成為教育樞紐，宿位短缺會造成障礙。大學生需要有什麼幫助呢？
