We now live in an atmosphere of innovation. The urban landscapes we are familiar with are disappearing one by one. When removing the old has become a norm and building the new is a principle to follow, I am not sure what is left of our feelings towards the city. When our memories and emotions are stripped of their carriers, we become travelers adrift in the city, looking for a familiar and serene spot to stop and stay.
Art Work mainly records three spaces from my childhood. As they disappear, the memories also become weak. So for this project, I invite some of my friends that grew up together with me to share the memory and rebuild the disappeared building. Misplaced and distorted, the place becomes blurred, strange, and uncertain again.
