Integration is Never Easy.
The Pilot Project on Integration of Children with Special Needs in Ordinary Schools introduced by the Education Bureau is facing difficulties in realizing its goal as the government cuts back on resources for teacher training in special education. This Project also gives lots of pressure to schools and teachers.
教育署推行融合教育先導計劃,讓能力參差的學生能夠真正融入學校。大部份家長歡迎計劃,不少教師則認為自己沒有充份的知識和技巧教導特殊學生。平機會訂明:任何學校都不可拒絕接收有特殊需要的學生,這令主流學校添加沉重壓力。政府提倡這計劃,卻削減資源,為融合教育的道路鋪設重重關卡。在政府資助和師資培訓皆不足下,學校難以因材施教。
