Is there really a shortage of farmland in Hong Kong? Acutally, most of the land dedicated for agriculture is neglected. The Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department’s Agricultural Land Rehabilitation Scheme was supposed to help Hong Kong farmers, but hasn’t had much impauct for these farmers.
雞農李良驥訴說自己的抱負，講解人工孵蛋的步驟和飼養雞隻的程序，對養雞業前景的看法。有機菜農黃如榮既承受天災風險，又耗費心力，為香港提供優質農產品。耕種是辛苦的工作，有人卻甘之如飴。他們都擔心農地改變用途。香港農地真的缺乏嗎？其實，農地荒廢的情況十分嚴重。漁護署推出「農地復耕計劃」，協助農民向田主租地耕作，可惜計劃成效不彰。有田無人耕，有人無田耕，這個死結，是否永遠不能解開呢？
